Until now, REALTORS have had to jump from Top Producer to Point2Agent. Then, log into Settlement Room to set up a showing appointment, then bounce over to Advanced Access to change the price on their listing. Then back to Microsoft Outlook to look up a showing date and confirm a telephone number. Next ,many would need to bounce over to RealTourVision, CirclePix or Obeo to upload a few new photos for a listing, then paste the link to their showcase listing in Realtor.com. Lastly, they would check for any new leads on Cartus LeadRouter.

While many firms and organizations have been talking about consolidating MLS data, We have already deployed a first generation MLS Appliance server and we are now upgrading it for version 2.0. There are at present over 900 different MLS footprints across the United States many of which only cover the big cities. Many states have minimum service laws which prevent For Sale By Owner (FSBOs) from being listed in the local MLS. Many discount brokers have been illegally barred from submitting their homes into the local MLS. Ed Krafchow, president of Prudential California Properties belongs to 17 different MLS systems. Downloading that data every day and having to consolidate it into one system is a process he says, "...is a living hell." This is why the first generation Kayyah MLS Appliance server was developed. It wasn't perfect and today, we're only in 27 states, Canada and a few other countries but agents and customers didn't seem to care.
